Description:
CHE56
is a welding electrode covered with potassium type coating. The deposited metal shows a satisfactory plasticity, impact toughness and crack resistance. It is widely for fabricating structures made of 500MPa grade high tensile steels and low alloy steels, such as ships, boilers, high press vessels, bridges, sky-scrapers, etc. The groove of base metal should be cleared away impurities and the electrode must be baked at a temperature to 350 then be held 1-2 hours before welding.
