   CHS132
Electrode for Stainless Steel
 AWS  E347-16
 DIN  E199NbR26
   BS  19.9NbR
  JIS   D347-16
  GB   E347-16

Description:
CHS132 is a  covered electrode with titanium-calcium type coating for welding stainless steels. The weld metal shows very good resistance to inter-crystalline corrosion. The arc stability is marvelous when AC is used though both AC and DC are suitable.  All positions welding are good, arc is smooth, spatter is small, surface of weld is looked well, and the coating flux of electrode is stronger.  Before welding, the weld metal must be clear away impurities, such as oil, rust, moisture etc., and the electrode should be baked at the temperature from 250oC to 300oC for 1 hour.  In welding, should use small current and short arc, and swaying broad less than 2.5 times of diameter of the electrode is better.

Applications:
Suitable for welding important resisting corrosion structures made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel that contents titanium stably.
