Description:
CHS29.9
is a lime titanium type
duplex stainless steel welding rod. It deposits a ferritic-austenitic duplex
weld metal with around 40% ferrite so it has excellent crack resistance. It
is suitable for welding Cr29Ni9 cast steels, high carbon steels, tool
steels, problem steels, as well as dissimilar metals. Before welding, the
weld metal must be clear away impurities, such as oil, rust, moisture etc.,
and the electrode should be baked at the temperature from 300℃ to 350℃ for 1
hour before welding.
